New Patented Air Sponge Filters "Form-Fit Seal" Stops Bypass and Provide 100% Air Filtration

It’s common sense that air will take the path of least resistance. That’s why we make our filters custom, to your specifications. But we don’t stop there. Air filter tracks have imperfections, design flaws and metal to metal seals that allow severe bypass. To compensate for these flaws our filters feature our patented anti-bypass seal.  When your air conditioner or heater turns on the difference in pressures causes an air tight seal.   No bypass means your filtering 100 % of the air.

Your Choice
You'll choose what type of replaceable air filter media goes inside your frame.  Select the media that suits your needs best.  You can always switch to a different  type when you use them up.

Benefits

Kill most germs before they re-circulate
Return-air duct models. Mounted in the ductwork of your heating and cooling system, the Ultraviolet Air Treatment System continuously emits ultraviolet (UV) energy that kills a high percentage of airborne bacteria passing by the light. Honeywell uses special UV lights that don't produce ozone, unlike most UV products.

Prevent mold spores from growing on your system's cooling coils
Coil irradiation model. Mounted above your central air conditioner's cooling coil, the Ultraviolet light continuously bathes cooling system components with mold stopping UV energy.

Specially designed for maximum performance and safety!
UV Air Treatment products by Honeywell feature a unique design with a patent pending lamp drive system for maximum performance, a special safety design that won't let bulb light unless properly mounted to the duct, and a special light pipe to safely view the bulb operation.

*Test by independent lab was conducted on one sample. Bacteria were injected into a test duct and surviving bacteria were counted.
1Test performed in a test duct showed a 3-log(99.9%) reduction in colony-forming
Aspergillus Niger mold spores when surface was irradiated at a distance of 18
inches for 3 hours in still air, using new bulbs.
2Test performed showed an 87% single pass kill rate of Serratia Marescens
bacteria in a clean metal 12 inches x 25 inches duct at an airflow rate of 2000 cfm using new
bulbs.
3Test performed showed a 70% single pass kill rate of Serratia Marcescens
bacteria in a clean metal 12 inches x 25 inches duct at an airflow rate of 2000 cfm using new bulbs.

THE IMPORTANCE OF WHOLE-HOUSE
HUMIDIFICATION
SYSTEMS.

Four words can summarize why whole-house humidifiers are important to homeowners- WELL-BEING, SAVINGS, NEED and DEMAND.

Consumer need for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) solutions has grown dramatically in the past decade, as homes are built more tightly and people become more aware of health-related issues. While air cleaners and ventilation keep indoor air clean, proper humidification is needed to control, minimize and eliminate unhealthy airborne pollutants. The ASHRAE standard range for optimum indoor relative humidity is between 40-60% year round, and 35-55% during the heating season.  Controlling indoor relative humidity is important because having too much or too little humidity in the home can pose risks to the well-being of individuals in the home, and potentially cause costly damages to the home itself. Today’s whole-house humidifiers and humidity controls work to maintain RH levels within these ranges.

The Benefits of Having a Whole-House
Humidifier:

1. WELL-BEINGThe right humidity level increases
overall comfort.  Dry air in the home can foster the growth of bacteria
and viruses, and lead to dry, flaky skin.  The American Lung Association
recommends 40 to 55% indoor relative humidity to achieve a maximum
comfort level.
2. LOWER HEATING BILLSHumidifiers can help lower
heating bills because properly humidified air feels warmer than over-dry
air.  For example, a 69°F or 20°C temperature at 35% relative humidity
feels as warm as a 72°F or 22°C setting at 19% relative humidity.
Setting a thermostat back three degrees can reduce annual heating
bills as much as 5%.
3. ASSET PROTECTIONGood humidification also
preserves woodwork and artwork throughout a home and prevents
wood from cracking.  It also helps musical instruments stay in tune.
4. FEWER“SHOCKS”Static electricity can “shock” homeowners and
their electrical equipment with a static charge of up to 20,000 volts,
a problem that can be reduced with proper humidification.

Types of Humidification Systems:

BYPASS FLOW-THROUGH UNITS
provide the most flexible
installation options and can be installed on either the supply plenum
or the return duct, based on what makes most sense in the particular
application.  A bypass duct then connects the unit to the duct
opposite of the unit installation.  Air is sucked from the supply,
through the humidifier’s soaked clay media pad, and blown into the
return for recirculation through the furnace and out into the living
areas.

POWERED FLOW-THROUGH UNITS work best for homeowners
with variable speed, multi-stage furnaces.  These furnaces reduce
airflow during extended run times when only the first stage of heating
is operating.  Powered flow-through units include an internal fan, do
not require a bypass duct, and can be installed in small, narrow areas
of the supply duct.

STEAM HUMIDIFICATION is another good option and provides
a constant humidity level.  Operating independently of the furnace,
this type of humidifier has a heating element that boils water in the
unit’s reservoir when the humidistat indicates the need for humidity,
and is mounted under a supply or return air duct.

Maintaining the Right Humidity Level:

To maintain proper humidity, and help prevent condensation and mold,
the humidistat must adjust or be adjusted as outside temperature
changes.  Whole-house humidifiers can be controlled in three different ways:

STANDARD MECHANICAL CONTROL- Standard controls require
manual adjustments daily and put complete responsibility on the
homeowner.  While easy to operate, it is the least effective way to
maintain proper humidity levels.

HUMIDITY CONTROL- The control is
mounted separately from the thermostat and automatically adjusts to
achieve the right humidity level.  Most humidity control systems are
connected to an outdoor sensor through a hole in the wall

INTEGRATED CONTROL WITH THERMOSTAT- This control is
combined with the thermostat to provide consistent humidity levels.
This option also provides one common location for thermostat and
humidity level control for the entire home.
The logic behind whole-house humidifiers with integrated controls is
simple: the cooler it gets outside, the more the furnace runs.
Replacing the wiring from the outdoor sensor to the furnace sensor
accomplishes the same result.  These integrated systems calculate
optimum humidity without the risk of condensation or the
inconvenience of an outside sensor.
